Parent Forum


St Andrew’s School Parent Forum is one means by which the school seeks to involve parents in the consultative process by providing an opportunity to discuss a range of school matters with members of the whole school community. Through the Parent Forum the school will be able to consult parental opinion on new initiatives and receive and respond to feedback given. The Parent Forum is not a decision making body, however the discussion and feedback generated will be invaluable for school improvement.


Meetings will take place once per half-term and all parents are welcome to attend. Items for discussion/consultation should be sent to the school office prior to the meeting or placed in the Parent Forum Suggestions Box located in the foyer of the school or alternatively emailed to the school office at
Both the school and parents are invited to add items to the agenda. An agreed number of items will be discussed at meetings and outstanding items can be brought forward to the next meeting. Full minutes will be taken and approved at meetings and all agreed action will be reported via the school website and newsletters. The minutes and agendas for meetings will also be available on the  website and school notice boards. A panel of representatives from the school community will meet prior to Parent Forum meetings in order to prepare for items on the agenda.
