What an exciting 3 days of sailing with PDSSA during year 5 and 6 Activity Week. Monday morning, with great weather for the morning, saw the children in Topaz and Drascombe Loggers sail boats. After lunch the wind picked up and some of the children sailed Opies. Tuesday wasn’t so great for sailing so the children were able to gain experience with driving the RIBs. In the afternoon Force 6 winds meant that sailing the Drascombe Loggers was cut short. Wednesday, our last sailing day, we were able to sail in and around Mount Batten and Plymouth Sound.
I really enjoyed sailing with my friends and having a great time.
