Apple Day

A very successful Apple Day was held on 16th October 2009. There were 69 entries for the Apple Pie Competition and the perpetual Challenge Cup was awarded for the first time. Peter Gorton (judge) declared the pies were better than ever. The new apple press from the Tamar Valley Group proved very popular and everyone was able to take home fresh juice!
