Timetable of School clubs (Lunchtime & After School)

KS2 Needlecraft Club
This term Mrs. Burke is running a lunchtime Needlecraft Club.Some people are learning to knit, some people are doing patchwork and some people are embroidering and beading felt hearts and flowers from their own designs. As the term goes on, the stitching has got smaller and the knitting has got longer!

Tag RugbyClub - Summer 2011

There are two tag rugby clubs, key stage 1 and key stage 2. Tag Rugby is a fun and exciting form of non-contact rugby suitable for males and females of all ages and abilities. There are no scrums and line-outs and tackling is not allowed. St Andrew’s regularly participate in festivals, competitions and tournaments throughout Devon. Teams comprise of as few as 4 or 5 players, or as a competitive 7-a-side game.

Hockey Club - Summer 2011

Hockey club is open to both boys and girls play hockey at St Andrew’s. It provides a positive experience of hockey to all who enter it in an enjoyable and competitive way with opportunities to represent the school in competitions.

Basketball Club - Summer 2011

Basketball club is open to key stage 2 children, boys and girls. The children will have the opportunity to take part in tournament games during the year.

 

Smiley Club - Autumn 2010

This term at Smiley Club we have been very busy.

We began the term by telling everyone about our summer holiday. Some children brought in new toys, photographs and books.......

Choir

Choir meet on Tuesday Lunchtime, It is run by Mrs Oliver. Years 2 - 6 can join this club.

Cooking Club

Cooking club meets after school on Mondays for one hour. Children from Key Stage 2 can attend this club.

We learn about food hygiene, where our foods come from and how to weigh ingredients.

We learn how to use a rolling pin.

We take our baking home. Sometimes we let our families try what we have cooked!

Piano / Keyboard Lessons

Does your child want to learn the piano or keyboard at school? I offer individual tuition with a choice of a 10 or 20 mins. lesson. For ore information please contact

Cathy Smart - Violin Tuition
Have you thought about taking up a musical instrument?
There are a few spaces available at the moment for violin lessons in school, either as individuals or in small groups. Don’t worry if you don’t have your own instrument; they are available to hire at a     very reasonable rate.

Lessons on Tuesdays in school (normally 10 lessons per term)
