Monday (Some thoughts from Aimee and Freya)
I had never been on a sailing boat before and I was really excited, the first boat I was in was an Oppie and I was excited to sail a boat on my own.
Chelsea, Tara and I went into a topaz in the morning ‘It was so fun, we capsized and Tara fell out twice!’

Tuesday (Lawrence)
On Tuesday afternoon we went to Jennycliff and on the way back we had a race, there was no wind but we got there in the end!

Wednesday (quotes from Peter and George)
Joe and I went in a topaz with Mr Jones. He got sea sick before we left the slipway!
William and me went together, we were trying to do a triangular circuit and capsized because we were leaning the wrong way!

Thursday (Tara)
On Thursday we went to Mount Edgcombe because the weather could have been bad on the Friday. Once we got there we had lunch, had a play then went back to base. I was with Chelsea and we capsized again

Friday
Friday was another sunning day so we sailed again to Jennycliff and had our lunch there.
During the week we learnt all about sailing including knots, the weather, sails, and ‘the highway code’ of the sea. We all gained our bronze certificate and lots passed their silver and gold.
