Reception Class and Year 5 visit Yelverton - December 2011

On Friday the 2nd of December 2011, Year 5 and Reception Class were going to the Yelverton Church Hall to watch Cars Two! When Year 5 and Reception Class were outside the School we got paired up with the Reception children and headed onto the coach. Through the journey we talked to the Reception children about the day ahead.

After our coach trip we hopped off the bus and strolled to the park! We sat down and had our lunch in the sun at the top of the play equipment. We talked and talked and talked till we had finished our lunch then we slid down the slide and swung on the swings. We had a great time at the park but it was time to move onto the Church Hall for the film.

We walked across the road so we could reach the Church Hall. After a couple of minutes we were walking through the door into the hall. We found our seats and settled down before the movie began. When the movie began the lights went off and the screen came alive!

When the movie had just started Mrs.Talbott handed out sweets to every child in the hall. The movie was great; it was about secret agents (which were cars) that travelled to places where there is trouble about.

When the movie had finished we picked up our bags and said thank you to the people who had helped us with the lighting and the screen.

When we were out of the building we headed back on the coach for the last time. We past the time by playing eye spy and soon we were back at school. We all said thank you to the driver and jumped of the coach. We got into our lines and went into school before the bell rung at the end of the day.
