Our restidential trip to Heatree Activity Centre
On the 4 th May Year 4 set off for Heatree, an activity centre in the middle of Dartmoor. Everyone was very excited and couldn’t wait to get there and find out what rooms they were in and what they were like. The first activity was orienteering and the children were sent off in groups of three to find points on a map. In the afternoon each child was put into a group and either took part in Kayaking, High Ropes or Archery. By the end of the two days all the groups had done each activity. In the evenings the children played rounders or football as well as showing off their talents around the camp firs on Thursday. On Friday morning they all took part in a team quest to find some lost jewels where they had to work as a team to complete activities. The food during the three days was fantastic and there was lots of it. A good time was had by all!!
