Chicks in Year 3
Molly brought her 5 little chicks to school for us to see. Molly had incubated 7 eggs, but only
5 hatched. They are all going to be kept as pets, and Molly is looking forward to lots of eggs for breakfast! She is feeding the chicks on ‘chicken crumbs’ which helps them grow properly. Soon they will be having ‘layers pellets’ and producing lots of eggs. We had a great time cuddling and petting them. They were very well behaved and we managed to see their
wings and their beaks as well as hear them cheap.
