Drawing sea creatures at the aquarium
Our guide, Julianna gave us a talk about the seahorses and how they live. We learnt that the males have the babies. That was really interesting. Then, she let us hold one. It was very fragile.
In the afternoon, we made our own aquariums in a plastic bottle. We thought about the environment our animals lived in and tried to make one the same. Lots of mums came to help too!
We used card, plastic, sand, shells, cellophane, cut outs of fish and made seaweed and bits of coral.
We looked at the animals that live in shallow waters.
At school we made sculptures from driftwood, shells and sand
