Inside the School

The Library
The children can take out books from the Library for either reading in school or for taking home. We have a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books which are managed electronically via our computer systems. Note the mural around the top of the wall which was painted by our talented artist teacher, Mrs Alison Schofield.

Years 4, 5, & 6 share a practical work area, where a range of activities can be undertaken, inlcuing painting, tie dyeing, sculpting and pottery. The School has a small kiln for firing of pottery. Note the red light over the kiln which indicates it is use.

Years 1 and 2 share an activity area to enjoy learning together. Activities are either teacher or Child initiated.

Reception Maths Games

Reception pupils enjoy sharing maths based games during a numeracy lesson.

Each class has at least two computers (with filtered internet access) for pupils to use. Age appropriate software is installed on each PC. These pupils from year1 are using "Bubble Reef" a numeracy program.
