Year 5 conducted a traffic survey in Tavistock high street.

The children asked shoppers in Tavistock questions about their shopping habits and transport mode.
'Should the high street be closed to traffic?'

The public were very keen to answer the questions devised by year 5.

More questions!

After the survey was completed the children walked to Tavistock Methodist Church.

Church Buildings - Compare an Anglican Church Building with a Methodist Church Building

As part of our religious educationn unit we have been:

  • Understanding that some people have places which are of special significance to them.
  • Understanding why a church building is special to Christians.
  • Know some of the main features of a church building.
  • Discovering some of the reasons why Christians might pray.

We learnt that a 'church' is not a building - it is the Christians who meet there.
