National Science and Engineering Week
7th - 16th March 2008
As part of the 'Food for Thought' theme pupils in class 4 dressed up as fruit and vegetables and led the school Assembly to begin the week.
On Wednesday 12th March pupils took part in a challenge afternoon in Family Groups (pupils from Reception to Year 6).

Tasks involved: separating soup; investigating fish and food webs; testing the amount of fizz in carbonated drinks;investigating the best kitchen cupboard ingredient for cleaning pennies;designing and testing a case to prevent an egg cracking when dropped from a height.; researching and then creating a food web mobile; designing and making a paper aeroplane to carry a brussel sprout; and designing equipment to move a cabbage from one place to another. |
