On Thursday 15th November 2007 a team of 3 boys and 4 girls from year 6 took part in the Tavistock Learning Community Large Schools High 5 Netball Tournament at Tavistock College.
Six teams took part in the Tournament:
Whitchurch;Tavistock Primary; Bere Alston; Bickleigh Down; St Peter's and
St. Andrew's. Each team played everbody else.
The first game was against Tavistock Primary which the team won.They then went on to play the other four teams and won every game. During the whole tournament the team did not concede one goal, which is a wonderful achievement.
Mr Colin Eves, Tavistock College Principal, presented the team with their winning sheild and medals.
