Peter Gorton and his assistant Claire, from the Horn of Plenty Restuarant at Gulworthy, came into class to demonstrate the process of making bread.

Peter offered advice about the ingredients and nutrition and answered a wide selection of questions from the children.

The children all wholeheartedly got involved in kneading and baking bread themselves.

The next step for them now is to face the challenge of designing and making their own bread.

Year 5 had a hard task of evaluating various bought breads. Here they are evaluating Chappatti.

A group discussion follows.

I hope this is going to be good!
