Celia Stevens helps to prepare for Apple Day at school on Friday 12th October. Apples from the Community Orchard were set out in the school hall and an assembly organised by class 4 explained the history of apples and different apple games to play.
Apple pies made by pupils and staff are ready to be judged.
Peter Gorton and Celia Stevens kindly judged the apple pie competition with 67 entries.
There were many activities after school involving apples. Some adults brought their own apples to be pressed.
The whole day was filmed by a T.V. crew as well as a photographer from The Tavistock Times.
