The whole school opened their classroom doors on Friday afternnoon to the community and parents. Each classroom was set up as a museum showing Afican artefacts which the children had brought in during the week. The children then researched their artefact and wrote a piece to display with the artefact. |
St Andrew's school is raising money towards a £10,000 project to rebuild Napula Primary School.
Parents 'paid' an entrance fee to the museums. During the afternoon £168 was raised through contributions towards rebuilding Naupula Primary School (refugee camp) Mozambique. Children in year 6 prepared cous cous for parents to try. Drums also featured loudly in year 6 were parents played along with pupils.
